The Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN) is France's leading public tourism operator, welcoming over 10 million visitors a year across its 100 monuments.
Hosting challenges
All 100 sites run on the IBEXA solution and require very high availability and optimal response times, along with the ability to absorb traffic spikes during cultural events.
The infrastructure we deployed
Steamulo designed an architecture meeting IBEXA's requirements, built on Scaleway's infrastructure and sized against 2022 traffic figures.
The architecture — rescaled after load testing — includes: 1 CDN for optimised access, 1 load balancer, 2 web frontends, 1 back office, 1 NFS, 1 Bastion, 1 Redis (SaaS), a 3-node SolR cluster, 1 master/slave DB and 2 Matomo instances.
All changes go through a production-equivalent pre-production environment. Releases are automated via AWX, making deployments self-service for the development team.
