Cloud Industrialisation & Resource Optimisation
Industrialised hosting of more than 120 CMN websites: a centralised sovereign platform, zero-downtime continuous deployments, hardened security and FinOps-driven resource management.
Context
The Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN) manages the preservation and promotion of historic monuments in France, with a key role in informing visitors, both individuals and professionals. The CMN needed to host and maintain more than 120 public websites, while guaranteeing their high availability, security and performance.
The initial infrastructure allowed neither efficient automation nor controlled scaling. The CMN wanted end-to-end support on architecture, zero-downtime automated deployment, cost optimisation and real-time performance monitoring.
Delivery
- Set-up of a centralised, redundant and secure infrastructure spread across several sovereign datacenters
- Integration of a CDN (Fastly) for overall performance and site resilience
- Deployment of an advanced WAF (ModSecurity + OGO Security) for protection against attacks
- Close support to external development teams to standardise and automate deployment processes
- Advanced observability: centralised logs, metrics dashboards and real-time alerting (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus)

The benefits for the CMN
- A robust, scalable platform able to host 120 sites with high availability
- Automated continuous deployments with no service interruption
- Hardened security thanks to the WAF and centralised logging
- Better collaboration between the CMN and its technical providers
- Lower infrastructure costs and improved cloud resource management (pooling, dynamic scaling, FinOps)
