Portal redesign, TMA and hosting for the ASC
The Agence du Service Civique operates a platform to encourage civic engagement and public support. The Service Civique programme aims to mobilise young people to address society's challenges, strengthen national cohesion and promote social diversity.
Context
The platform serves two target audiences:
- Young people aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 for those with disabilities) wishing to commit for 6 to 12 months on a public interest mission
- Organisations that offer and publish mission opportunities
The Agence du Service Civique launched the portal redesign project in 2018, initially entrusted to another provider. The delivery scheduled for September 2019 was repeatedly delayed due to missing features and performance issues. The project was handed over to Steamulo in October 2020, with a target go-live for the new site in 2021.

The handover began with an audit to assess the state of the code and formulate associated recommendations (fix backlog). The goal was to establish a prioritisation list enabling a rapid go-live of the new portal.

Following the technical redesign of the new site, we recommended functional improvements and the launch of a functional / UX audit of existing user journeys. This audit was aimed at delivering a first-level global analysis of the site alongside improvement recommendations, resulting in an evolution backlog handled in sprints.
